DNB – Education

The National Board of Examinations, New Delhi has accredited this Institution & recognized it for postgraduate DNB courses in Ophthalmology since 1997. 6 candidates are admitted every year, 3 for primary DNB and 3 for post-DOMS The academic year starts from 1st July every year. Admissions to the DNB course are made directly by the board based on centralized entrance exam and a centralized counselling. The Institute conducts Research & its faculty has presented papers in most of the State, National and International Conferences. A spacious auditorium with a seating capacity of 200 persons provides a venue for the Clinical Deliberations, Meetings & CME Programmes.
Admission Period Every Year in the month of June-July.
Selection Formal application procedure followed by an interview.
Eligibility Primary Candidate – MBBS & ranking in the CET, conducted by the National Board Post DO – (Diploma in Ophthalmology).
Duration of the Course Primary Candidate – 3 Years.
Post DO Secondary Candidate – 2 Years.
