The National Board of Examinations, New Delhi has accredited this Institution & recognized it for post graduate DNB courses in Ophthalmology since 1997.

6 candidates are admitted every year, 3 for primary DNB and 3 for post DOMS.

Academic year starts from 1st July every year. Admissions to the DNB course are made directly by the board based on centralized entrance exam and centralized counseling.

The Institute conducts Research & its faculty has presented papers in most of the State, National and International Conferences. A spacious Auditorium with seating capacity of 200 persons provides venue for the Clinical Deliberations, Meetings & CME Programmes.

Admission PeriodEvery Year in the month of June-July.
SelectionFormal application procedure followed by an interview.
EligibilityPrimary Candidate – MBBS & ranking in the CET, conducted by the National Board
Post DO – (Diploma in Ophthalmology).
Duration of the CoursePrimary Candidate – 3 Years.
Post DOSecondary Candidate – 2 Years.
